A prior authorization, sometimes called a pre-approval, is a process required by many insurance companies for certain medications. Your insurer requires justification from your doctor on why a specific drug is medically necessary for you before they will agree to cover its cost.
Once we are aware that your prescription needs approval, our team coordinates with your doctor's office to submit the necessary paperwork to your insurance provider. We handle the follow up and communication, saving you time and hassle.
Yes, we offer a cash discount plan to help make medications more affordable. We are committed to finding solutions that help you access the care you need.
Absolutely. We provide multi-dose pill packaging, where we sort your medications by date and time into easy to open packets. We also offer medication synchronization (Med Sync) to align all your refills for a single monthly pickup.
We are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays.
After dealing with the big chain pharmacies, Apothecary Shoppe is so much more. Very friendly personable staff. They know your name and are always so helpful. The free delivery is a real plus. Trevor is great to work with.

Awesome little local pharmacy! We made the switch over a year ago from Walgreens after consistent supply issues and haven’t looked back. Their hours may not be as long but the staff is so nice and goes above and beyond to make sure we get what we need at the best price. Can’t recommend them enough.
